> Introduction :: Pantech's RPM Indicator cum Controller, model 857 is an ideal instrument for measuring the speed of any rotating part. The input signal can be pulses from turbine meters or any other pulsar unit/ device. To detect the speed of any rotating part, it also accepts pulses, in the form of PNP as a standard instrument (on demand we provide NPN also). The Pulse/Revolution ratio is provided in the instrument that can be changed on the field. Further virtue of the instrument is that it can be equipped with controlling set points, which generates potential free contacts on abnormal field operations. Model 857 is capable to display the RPM value to the resolution of maximum 4 digits with programmable range selection. Further it can be designed to generate maximum of 4 nos. of potential free contacts, with a virtue of field configurable (i.e. HIGH “or” LOW) and adjustable alarms. Optional 4 – 20 mA DC (Isolated/ non-isolated) can also be provided in the unit. It is also facilitated with internal transmitter power supply of 24 V DC, to power up proximity sensors. The instruments are available in panel mounting as well as wall mounting versions. All models can be operated on 24V DC, 230V AC and 110V AC power supplies. Power supply is isolated from rest of the circuit. The instrument incorporates low drift operational amplifiers and industrial grade components for long trouble free operation.
